I asked two of my friends about their view on dating sites, i was surprised when one friend admited that they had found their current long term boyfriend on a dating site, but had kept quiet about it.
My other friend said he was not sure if he would be happy using a dating site, he still saw it as "shopping" for a girlfriend , "i'll just get my basket he said".There may be a case that women are more open to the use of online dating, this seems to be the case from the pepole i have spoke too, and the recent adverts on tv by match.com may also suggest this.
